The Inter-Tel 8602 IP Softphone is a PC based telephone for use with Inter-Tel (now Mitel) CS-5000 and Axxess range of phone systems. In 2008 the 8602 was formally tested with Microsoft Vista and is now considered compatible.

Inter-Tel 8602 IP Soft Phone features:
- Feature buttons and icons for easy access to features
- Six-line display and eight display menu selection buttons that change functions according to the feature selected
- Tray Client that provides graphical representation of the state of the telephone
- Volume sliders for the microphone and speaker for added control
- Retractable dial pad to conserve space
- Mouse and keyboard activated feature control
- Requires Microsoft® Windows® XP or Vista operating system and Inter-Tel 5000 software version 1.2 or higher
This software is free, however, you must have the appropriate licence (RRP £60 +vat) on your CS-5000 phone system for it to work.
