V4.46e Patch Software Release for Samsung Telephone Systems

Samsung Telephone Systems

Some business' have been having minor problems with their Samsung Telephone Systems and Samsung have looked into it. They have released a new patch to solve the problems.

The following issues have been fixed:

1 Samsung Voice Mail (SVM) language prompts may revert to American/English

After a telephone system restart, the Samsung Voice Mail prompts revert to American/English language.

The telephone systems that have this problem are the ones with SVM embedded although the SVMi20E is NOT affected by this issue.

Affected Telephone Systems:

OS7030

OS7100

OS7200s (MP20s)

2) Cross Talk on Page Groups with >50 Members

If a page is made to a group of more than 50 members then one of the members makes an external call, that call could be heard over everyone elses speakers.

Affected Telephone Systems:

ALL OS7000 telephone systems

3) Ring Plan Key Lamp Problem

If auto Ring Plans are used and RP keys are programmed, when the auto timer settings put the system into a ring plan, for example RP1, but a user manually puts the system into a different ring plan, for example RP2, the system will move RP2 but after about 30 seconds the RP1 lamp will light, the telephone system is still correctly in RP2. This would obviously be confusing to the user.

Affected Telephone Systems:

ALL OS7000 telephone systems
